The idea for Wellness Carolinas was birthed in 2019 when we began doing more research for our personal health and wellness.
After practicing daily meditation and studying mindfulness and the healing qualities of salt and water, we began seeking out other forms of wellness.
We regularly practice meditation, yoga, and apply feng shui principles in our lives and home.
Jen and Bob are a strong team, having been together since 2002. Jen is currently a public school educator, who consistently practices and weaves mindfulness and wellness into her classroom culture. In 2021, Jen published her first self-care journal for teachers, The Teacher’s Well-Being Journal. Jen began her mindfulness training in 2018 with Mindful Schools. She completed the Baptiste Foundation Unstoppable Training at Yoga One and the Feng Shui 2020 Online Seminar with Marie Diamond. Jen also attended the inaugural Global Conscious Women Conference and became one of the founding members of the Global Conscious Sisterhood. In addition to promoting many health and wellness practices across the Carolinas, Jen would love to share her practices and tips with you as well.
Bob’s career began in education, teaching art at the middle school and elementary school levels. A career change in 2009 led him to work in the online marketing industry. He now has over 12 years of online and social media marketing experience, as a creator, designer, and manager. In 2018, Bob began practicing meditation when he discovered Insight Timer and some of the many benefits that come with meditation. Bob wanted to learn more about practicing energy healing after being introduced to Dr. John Amaral on The goop Lab. He completed John’s first “7 Day Fight or Flight to Flow Challenge” in February 2020. Bob continued his energy training with a 3-week course, “Discovering the Fundamentals of Energy” and the “Higher Heart & Brain Activation” course.
